Walking to Work

Our house is on the corner of the main street that runs through town and the boundary street between the barangsays Tinago and Poblacion. The Villarubin's church is basically across the street two doors down past the gas station. I should get a picture of the gas station. It's nice. Four guys are always on duty sitting around in bright yellow shirts and sunglasses and have great music playing all the time. The church has a loudspeaker system broadcasting mass every morning at 6:00-7:00 except for the month of October it's 4:30-5:30 for some special reason I'm not sure about.
The church is a couple of doors down across the street

The homes along the street have beautiful flower gardens.
I walk about two blocks to the main intersection and hang a left.

Main intersection
Our transfer station for trikes and multi-cabs.
Buses and Vans are caught by flagging them down on the highway.
PuttPutts can be flagged down anywhere.
The Municipal Hall housing the post office, mayor's office, planning department, treasurer's office. social services

In front of the Muni. is this little Municipal Environmental and Natural Resources Office (MENRO)
where I was told I could work because it has air con and I love the air con.
The Legislative Building  housing the legislative council chambers and the Municipal Agriculturist Office (MAO)

Hi ya'll from my desk in the MENRO office.
If you compare the photos from Inopacan and Sabang you can see life is quite a bit different in a municipality. Main street is the main highway running along the west coast of southern Leyte
