Lami Ana's BBQ
February 18, 2013
The Villarubins used to run a BBQ stand but closed it five years ago when Alex went to sea. They decided to reopen it and the renovations have been ongoing for a couple months. It sits adjacent to and can be accessed by way of the back courtyard opening to the main street.

Goats and chickens nearby
The Comfort Room got a mosaic tiled floor
The roof had leaks so the first priority was repairing the
roof and ceiling. Alex is a Jack of All Trades doing the carpentry and
electrical work. Buddy painted everything and will be the head chef as he is
the excellent cook in the family.

I didn’t realize it was going to be a sarisari store as well
till the bags and boxes of merchandise started showing up and Aries was very
busy unpacking and arranging stuff on every available surface in the house.
things ready for the grill
February 18th was opening day with a blessing
ceremony performed by priests for the new business with holy water sprinkled on
everything and reading of scripture.
